The 4th edition of the Entrepreneurship and Social Economy Contest (Emprenedoria i Economia Social) of the Sant Cugat City Council already has eight participating entrepreneurial projects. Now, these initiatives enter a process of guidance and counseling with social economy experts who will help shape their idea. Once this period, expected to end in November, is completed, participants will present the project to the contest jury, which will select four winning teams. The prize is 5,000 euros to launch the initiative and a free six-month stay at the BeBusiness entrepreneurship center. In this fourth edition, the contest has opened to any entrepreneurial initiative presenting a project with social impact and to already established companies. In total, 18 applications have been submitted, and the selection committee has been responsible for choosing the eight best, including the Marginarte project. The goal of the MARGINARTE project is to dignify, promote, study, and disseminate “outsider art”.
