El Primero is our youngest wine. The first wine of the harvest to go onto the market each year. We began making it in 1995, when a Dutch customer asked Manuel Fariña for a wine in the style of the famous French Beaujolais. Thus El Primero was born, a wine made using the traditional method of carbonic maceration, which goes on sale 45 days after the start of the grape harvest, and is characterised by the enormous potency of its taste and aromas.
